- Moisturise the skin first
- You can put a base on the same skin tone depending on what kind you look you want
- Grease on grease in easier to blend
- Make your model pull faces to enhance her natural wrinkles and follow the lines with your brush - it's best to use a thin or an angled brush
- Mix a brown shade (we used Supracolor palette by Kryolan)
- Apply product around and under the eyes, on the temples, cheeks, chin, forehead, between the brows, down the nose and sides of the nose
- The lines don't have to be subtle because it is a theatrical look but they need to be blended nicely
- Don't forget to apply make up on the ears and neck
- Use a mascara wand to apply white on the eyebrows and eyelashes; mix white with a little bit of yellow because some cameras might pick up the colour differently and it could end up looking blue
- Go against the hair and down the eyelashes with the mascara wand
- When doing this on set you would use contact lenses because young eyes are brighter but there would be an optician to do that and not the make up artist
- When you get older your lip deffinition disappears slightly - you can put a little bit of foundation on to take out the lip colour and look
- To create veins use a stippling sponge and gently dab the products onto the parts of the face where the veins would naturally appear - nose, cheeks, chin
- You can use Tooth Enamel to take out the teeth or to make them look rotten you have to dry the teeth first, or the product won't go on
- When creating the look, think about the persons age, background etc.

Hands
- Apply barrier cream first
- You can use latex or old age stipple - I used latex
- Always ask your model if they are allergic to latex, if they aren't sure put a tiny bit on the inside of their arm - if the skin goes red don't use latex on them
- Stretch the skin and apply the products with a sponge - stipple it on so you avoid hard edges
- Use a hairdryer to dry the product - always make sure that the air is cold and not hot
- You can layer the product as much as you want - the more layers the more wrinkles but do not put another layer on unless it is dry
- When the product is dry you can press and move it into place
- Use foundation to blend the product with the skin, you can use a powder if you want, too
